Softball Club

The Roadhaven Softball Club seeks to provide a slow-pitch softball program that, as much as possible, gives Roadhaven residents who wish to play ball an opportunity to do so at a level that best reflects their skill levels and abilities. Player ages range from 55 to the early 80s, including some who have never played ball before arriving in our park.

In 2010-11, we hope to sponsor teams in the 55+, 65+, 70+, and 75+ age categories, plus a couple of teams (all ages) in a recreation league. Some teams also participate in tournament play.

“Spring Training” begins the first of November, with practices open to all, normally every Wednesday and Friday. We enter a fall league in Apache Junction and another, providing we have sufficient players, in neighboring Florence. Our season winds up with a friendly “Can-Am” game, pitting Canadian players vs. Americans for bragging rights in the coming year.
