There are many different
activities and hobbies one can pursue at Roadhaven. Most
have dedicated buildings, including; a complete woodwork
room, fully equipped ceramics room, a computer room with
20 computers for members' use and instruction, a
Creative Crafts club, an art room, lapidary,
silversmith, cards, and a 12-table billiards room. Bingo
is played every Monday. There are four tennis
courts, a pickle ball court, shuffleboard courts, two
swimming pools, a wading pool, and two hot tubs.
The resort enjoys a very active Little Theater club with
a theater that can hold an audience of up to 900 people.
A church service (inter-denominational) is held each
Sunday and our own choral group is in full voice at each
service.
Every type of dancing happens at Roadhaven.
Clogging club, with our own dance team (that entertains
us and are in demand at other resorts), line dancing,
square dancing, round dancing and ballroom dancing.
There is our own nine-hole, par 3 golf course located in
the center of our resort. Members can play daily for
about the same cost as a round of four games at a full
golf course anywhere else in the Valley.
There is an activity club, an RV club and members with
model aircraft and boats, along with a hiking club.
Craft shows are held, where people display and sell what
they have created and where you can buy whatever unique
items you must have. There are special event dinners and
fund drives with pancake breakfasts, and so on, almost
every day or so.
Our
full-time activities director
ensures we get some of the finest entertainment
available, and tickets are exceptional bargains.There
are many more things going on at Roadhaven. If you have
an interest that is not mentioned here, all you need do
is mention it and you will likely find someone else
interested in starting up a club for your common
